Dental Implants, Dentures, & Bridges
Restorative dentistry includes the procedures used to fix damaged or missing teeth. We use state-of-the-art techniques and dental equipment to restore the health of your teeth. This includes tooth-colored fillings, dental implants, dentures, bridges, and crowns.
When you experience tooth loss, it is important to fill the space left by the missing tooth. Left untreated, the adjacent teeth may drift into the space causing issues with bite, speech, and aesthetics. There are several options for replacing teeth.
Dental implants are permanent replacements for missing teeth. Small titanium implants are surgically implanted into the jaw to act as a “root” for a crown. Then a crown is attached to the implant to restore natural-looking tooth. Implants are the most natural-looking and functioning solution for tooth replacement.
Bridges literally bridge the area between the teeth on each side of a gap. Crowns are fastened to the bridge, filling the space. They may be supported by adjacent teeth or implants.
Dentures are removable replacements for teeth. They may replace a few (partial) or all of the teeth in the mouth. We custom fit each denture to the patient and their specific needs. Dentures must be removed for cleaning.
Crowns are artificial teeth that cover implants or broken teeth. They look and function exactly like your teeth!
